Today I would like to tell you about my Mech process. It's not detail story or tips, like others tutorial posts. I only want you know how I do it. Hope you will enjoy!!!
This is a sketch mesh. I created it for a form 's mech. Yep! It's ugly, but it's not important. Because you only need a form ( height, wide, etc).
I gave him more details. It's good but don't focus on it too much.
OK, let Zbrush behind and go ahead with Maya. Why ?? I had a form, so I didn't need to build details in Zbrush. Zmodeler can handle a simple shape but it can't handle complicated shape. It wastes time.
I created a mech but it's a casual style. So I wanted build a new mech with more details.
For Maya, I can handle details very good. But it's ok if you want to do it in Zbrush. I don't think I have a lot of time for them.
Asset which I used. It's simple. No many. But It's good enough to use.
Well, I had just done with Wings, Legs, Bottom shield.
I built a basic shape then I added more details later.
Iam not 2D concept Artist. But I have my way. This is my Assault Mech concept.
